Piume Animate is a project born on April 2020 under a challenging situation that took me to retreat alone for few months with a broken foot during the pandemic time. I started by painting on Hawk feather out of the blue. The day I have broken my right foot, I did a ceremony for a hawk found on the edge of the street by a friend. The bird was, unfortunately, killed in an accident. I felt so strong the need of painting this sacred animal on one of its feathers. I didn't listen to his message, that's why my accident happened too. When I came back from the hospital after the surgery, I straight paint the first feather. The connection I felt with the bird was profound. I had a clear vision of having the head of the hawk on top of mine. That time I realized that I had to keep painting animals on feathers. I have the gift of making them feel real and alive, giving them the possibility of sharing a message with whom it's meant to meet the animal.
